Imagine tucking into slow-roasted Karoo lamb, potato and onion fritters, roasted baby butternut and fresh garden vegetables while enjoying the ambience of one of Nieu-Bethesda’s eclectic gathering spots. The privat

e dining room is open seven days a week, from 8am to 8pm for guests, we serve burgers, pitas, steaks, pasta and curry. Try our lamb shank over pasta or allow us to tempt you with decadent desserts, marvelous milkshakes. Coffee aficionados can get their fix with their choice of cappuccino, latte, Americano, mocha or espresso – our range is selected from around the world, and we have strong and bitter, sweet medium and mild aromatic roasts to suit nearly every taste. All our meats are sourced locally, served with organic veggies from our garden, when in season. Our Slow Sundays are a treat when we offer guests a slow roast every Sunday from 1pm. Booking is essential as numbers are limited. In need of a little retail therapy? Our Karoo-themed gift shop stocks a variety of handmade artisan goods sourced in southern Africa. 𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Join us on 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟯𝟭 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 from 17:00 - 18:30 for the public exhibition of works created during Art Muse Collective’s 3rd annual 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 in Nieu-Bethesda, led by facilitating artist Dina Grobler.

These unfired clay sculptures by participants are a celebration of raw creativity, storytelling, and form - shaped by hand, heart, and the soulful stillness of the Karoo. Each piece is a moment captured in clay, before it’s fired, in its most honest and vulnerable form.
