Acclaimed South African theatre-maker Andrew Buckland is bringing THE FOOL’S GUIDE… TO LIVING AND DYING to the Nieu-Bethesda Sports Club - a show commissioned by the Klein Karoo Nasionale Kunstefees 2026 and directed by Janet Buckland.

Expect 70 minutes of Andrew Buckland’s distinctive physical theatre, storytelling and humour as he tackles the rather small subjects of… well, living and dying. 😄

The 21st South African National Parks Week kicks off today. SAN Parks Week offers South African citizens free access to participating parks from 7 to 13 September 2026 on presentation of their South African ID.

Free entrance is included to the Camdeboo National Park at Graaff-Reinet, and the Mountain Zebra National Park outside Cradock, both within the Karoo Heartland region.

The free access does not include accommodation, guided activities and game drives.
