There’s something about the end of the day in Nieu-Bethesda… the sky turns orange and pink, the Karoo quiet settles in and the fire is lit for a braai. At Klein Geluk Cottage, evenings are made for slowing down. Set in a large garden in Pienaar Street, this original pre-1877 Karoo cottage offers plenty of space and privacy, with a stoep, outdoor seating and a boma braai area perfect for nights just like this.

Klein Geluk sleeps 4 guests in two bedrooms and offers a fully equipped kitchen, cosy lounge with fireplace, Wi-Fi and safe on-site parking. In warmer weather there’s a swimming dam and outdoor shower, and the property is fenced and pet-friendly. Best of all, the entire property and its facilities are for guests’ exclusive use.

Dating back to 1877, Klein Geluk has been thoughtfully renovated without losing the character that makes an old Karoo home special. It sleeps four guests in two bedrooms and offers a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious garden, braai area, Wi-Fi and plenty of room to slow down.

This beautiful original Karoo cottage, dating back to before 1877, is set in a large private garden and sleeps up to four guests in two bedrooms. The entire property is yours to enjoy - perfect for a relaxed summer break with family, friends or your four-legged travel companion.

Summer days at Klein Geluk are made for cooling off in the swimming dam, rinsing off under the outdoor shower, relaxing in the garden and ending the day around the boma braai. We also have a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi and safe on-site parking.

There are winter holidays... and then there are Karoo winter holidays. 🤍

This was a guest's visit that looked like slow mornings with coffee in bed, afternoons spent wandering the village with the village map, local home cooked meals, fires that burned long into the evening, and quiet moments where there was nowhere else to be.
