We’re especially obsessed with these custom-made headboards and pillows by Accio Living ~ they brought every room together perfectly. ✨

One step closer to opening the doors of Hayley’s Rest. 🤍

It’s amazing how a few weeks can completely transform a space. The bathrooms are coming together beautifully with the bath and toilets now installed, the kitchen tiling is complete, and our gorgeous Coricraft furniture has arrived.

Next week is the part we’ve been dreaming about—bringing this house to life through furnishing and adding all the thoughtful details that will make every stay feel like home.

We can’t wait to share the finished space with you. It’s becoming everything we imagined, and more. ✨

One thing we knew from the beginning was that we wanted each room to feel unique, cosy, and thoughtfully curated. helped bring that vision to life with custom headboards and cushions that perfectly capture the charm we’re dreaming of.

Soft florals, timeless stripes, rich textures, and a touch of cottage-core magic… we’re completely in love.

Hayley’s Rest is becoming everything we hoped it would be — a beautiful place to slow down, rest, and make memories in the heart of the Drakensberg.

The final touches are officially underway! 🤍

Our bathrooms are now about 90% complete, and seeing all the details come together is so rewarding. The floor screed is receiving its final coat, and if all goes according to plan, next week we can finally start furnishing and decorating.

After months of dreaming, planning, renovating, and praying over this space, we’re getting closer to welcoming our very first guests.

We can’t wait to turn this house into a warm, peaceful retreat in the heart of the Drakensberg — a place where memories are made and souls can truly rest. 🤍

The bathroom tiles are slowly coming together, and we’ve tried so hard to make each room and bathroom unique while still creating a space that flows beautifully together.

Now we’re praying that next week brings furnishing, decorating, and seeing it all finally come to life 🤍

We’ve received our bathroom tile samples from CTM and they’ve completely set the tone for Hayley’s Rest.

Right now it’s all about the messy middle - carpets and tiles are out and floors are being prepped for screed going in next week.
