🌧️🌸 The Klein Karoo is showing off! 🌸🌧️

We’ve been blessed with plenty of rain in Oudtshoorn lately, and the veld has definitely noticed! What was dry and dusty not too long ago is suddenly bursting with colour as the spring flowers start showing themselves. 🌼🌺🌿

There’s just one small problem…

Our meerkats are getting harder to find! 😂🦦

They’re so used to standing out in the open Karoo that they clearly weren’t prepared for all these flowers. At this rate, we might have to rename ourselves Five Shy Flowers. 🌸👀

Luckily, those curious little heads eventually pop up above the blossoms to see what’s going on!

Rain, flowers, fresh green veld and wild meerkats — not a bad way to welcome spring in Oudtshoorn. ❤️🌿
