A Wedding touched by Rain and wrapped in Promise.
The past Saturday, Doringbos Lodge and Venue had the honour of hosting a truly unforgettable wedding. As the ceremony concluded, gentle rain fell - and moments later, a breathtaking rainbow appeared across the sky.
In many cultures, rain on a wedding day is seen as a blessing: symbol of cleansing, renewal, and a marriage that will be rooted deeply and grow strong. The rainbow that followed felt like nature's promise of joy, hope and a beautuful journey ahead.
Thank you to the beautiful couple, Thalita and AJ Pretorius who trusted us with such a meaningful day. It was a reminder that even the unexpected moments can become the most magical moments.
