IMPORTANT FLOODING NOTICE – VAAL RIVER
BELANGRIKE VLOED Kennisgewing – VAALRIVIER

Dear Vosrite Adventures community,
Please take note of the following important update regarding the current flooding situation:

The Vaaldam will be opening a total of 10 sluice gates on 27 November 2025, which will significantly increase water flow into the Vaal River.

Our low-lying campsites—especially those designed for anglers’ convenience—will be underwater for the duration of the high-water period.

All visitors and bookings are urged to please read our official Terms & Conditions on our website, specifically the sections relating to flooding and river conditions.

Our Natural Disaster Protocol, as outlined in our T&C, will be followed until water levels return to normal.

We will continue to provide updates as the situation changes. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Neem asseblief kennis van die volgende belangrike inligting oor die huidige vloedsituasie:

Die Vaaldam gaan ’n totaal van 10 sluise oopmaak op 27 November 2025, wat die watervloei in die Vaalrivier aansienlik sal verhoog.

Ons lae-geleë kampplekke, veral dié wat vir hengelaars se gerief ontwerp is, sal vir die duur van die hoëwaterperiode onder water wees.

Alle besoekers en besprekings word versoek om asseblief ons Terme & Voorwaardes op ons webtuiste te lees, veral die afdelings wat handel oor vloede en riviertoestande.

Ons Natuurramprotokol, soos uiteengesit in ons T&V, sal gevolg word totdat die watervlakke weer normaal is.

Ons sal opdaterings gee soos die situasie verander. Baie dankie vir julle begrip en ondersteuning.

Important Notice: 2026 Price Adjustment for Vosrite Adventures Campsites

Dear Valued Guests,

We want to thank you for your continued support and the wonderful memories you help create at Vosrite Adventures. We are committed to maintaining our campsites and offering an unforgettable experience to every visitor.

Our last price adjustment was on January 1, 2023. Since then, operational costs such as electricity, labor, and general maintenance have continued to rise. To keep up with these growing expenses and ensure that we maintain the high standards you expect, we are implementing a price increase effective January 1, 2026.

We understand price increases are never easy, but this decision allows us to keep offering excellent service, clean facilities, and a safe, enjoyable environment.

Below is a breakdown of the old and new pricing for each of our campsites per day:

Likkewaan - R1250 to R1500 - R250 (R50 per person.)
Alfa - R320 to R360 - R40 (R20 per person.)
Vosrus - R320 to R360 - R40 (R20 per person.)
Timbevatie - R640 to R720 - R80 (R20 per person.)
Cabin Area - R1200 to R1400 - R200 (R50 per person.)
Manapools - R1500 to R1800 - R300 (R50 per person.)

Good News!
If you make your 2026 booking before the end of September 2025, you will still pay 2025 prices! Only a deposit is required to secure your booking, and the outstanding balance can be settled in 2026. This limited-time offer is valid until 30 September 2025, after which all bookings will be charged at the new 2026 rates.

Het jy geweet / Did you know.....
Op die webblad onder CAMPSITES kan jy die pryslys kry en onder die kampe is daar n funksie waar jy n prys kan uitwerk wat dit gaan kos voor jy n Kwotasie Navraag insit....

On the website under CAMPSITES, you can find the price list, and under the camps, there is a feature where you can calculate the cost before submitting a Quote Request...

Winter is koud langs die rivier maar kamp bly mos maar lekker. Winter is wanneer die groot visse meer uitkom so kom kamp en vang lekker vis.

Vosrite Fishing Klub se hengel naweek was weer die afgelope naweek en die visse het mooi uitgekom. Hulle was op Manapools kamp gewees.

NEEM KENNIS:
A.g.v. die oorstromings het ons die cabin verloor. Ongelukkig sit ons nou met ’n probleem dat die bouer gestaak het om Cabin klaar te bou so vir nou gaan dit nog ’n tyd in beslag neem voor die Cabin weer in werking gaan wees. Ons verander die area dan vir tyd eers na ’n kamp area. Ingesluit in die kamp area is dan die volgende:
1. Area om tente op te slaan
2. Badkamer met bad, strort en toilet
3. Afdak en braai area
4. Krag in badkamer en onder afdak
5. Klein kamer wat gebruik kan word om in te slaap vir 2 mense
Koste beloop R1200 per dag vir 1 – 4 mense daarna R300 p.p.p.d. ekstra bo 4 mense.

NOTICE:
Due to the floods, we lost the cabin. Unfortunately, we now have a problem as the builder has halted the construction of the cabin, so it will take some time before the cabin is operational again. For now, we are temporarily converting the area into a campsite. Included in the campsite are the following:
1. Area for pitching tents.
2. Bathroom with a bathtub, shower, and toilet.
3. Shelter and barbecue area.
4. Power in the bathroom and under the shelter.
5. A small room that can be used for sleeping for 2 people.
Costs are R1200 per day for 1-4 people, and then an additional R300 per person per day for more than 4 people.

Hou die spasie dop...ons besig met n paar nuwe dinge wat ons wil aanbied by Vosrite Adventures....besig met onderhandelinge so een van die dae dalk River rafting, perd ry, stap roetes ens....sal julle op hoogte hou soos ons regkom met reelings....

1 September is dit amptelik die 1st dag van Lente. Hier is die kampe beskikbaar sover vir September. Kom vang lekker vis voor hulle gaan “spawn”…..
