Are you a trainee adventure guide needing river experience and hours for your logbook?

You're welcome to join us for a logged training day and gain valuable practical experience alongside experienced guides.

There is one important condition: trainee guides must actively work as part of the team to contribute towards the cost of the trip.

Where there is actual paid guiding work available, rotational availability will take priority so that opportunities can be shared fairly amongst available guides.

It's a great opportunity to:

We might have skipped church this weekend… but we had one hell of an adventure waiting for us! 😂

An **awesome booking**, new friends, and then straight onto the **Vaal River**! 🛶🔥

We played **pinball on the rapids**, smashed through some waves, jumped a weir, tackled the current, and enjoyed an epic paddle through some of the most scenic stretches of the river. 🌊💦

A massive shout-out to **Damian**, who somehow always manages to find the **most fun, scenic and adventurous route**! 🤙

And a special thank you to **Riverman**, for always encouraging us to get out there, push the limits, have a laugh and create memories that beat sitting at home watching the weekend disappear. 🙌

Let's celebrate Women’s Day by spending a beautiful morning moving, frolicking and exploring in nature.

We’ll gather at Otters' Haunt Eco Retreat for a welcoming hot beverage and a Hatha yoga practice beneath the old oak tree, before wandering through nature down to the river.

There will be time to pause beside the rocks, enjoy a relaxed picnic with paninis and fresh fruit salad from The Stash , and then paddle across the river by canoe to explore the island 🛶🌿
