The beach is right there. And we mean right there. 🌊

Our Ocean King Suites sit just metres from the shoreline, with uninterrupted views across Paternoster’s white sandy beach and the Atlantic beyond.

Slide open the doors in the morning, take your coffee out onto your private deck and watch the first walkers make their way along the beach while you decide what the day might hold.

Inside, generous open-plan spaces, a fireplace and a freestanding bath for two make staying in every bit as tempting as heading out.

Although with the ocean this close, we’d keep the doors open.

This Heritage Day, we’re celebrating the place we’re proud to call home. 🇿🇦

Paternoster is one of the West Coast’s oldest fishing villages, where life has been shaped by the ocean for generations. Fishing remains part of the rhythm of the village today, with small boats still heading out from the shore and returning with the day’s catch.

It’s a heritage you see in the boats on the beach, the fishermen heading out in the early morning, the children playing at the water’s edge, and in the deep connection between this community and the sea.

For both Strandloper Ocean and Leeto, being part of Paternoster means being part of that story — respecting where we come from, supporting the community around us and celebrating the people and traditions that make this corner of the West Coast so special.
