HERITAGE MONTH | THE STORY OF ANEW HOTEL HILTON 🏨
Before it became ANEW Hotel Hilton, this Tudor-style landmark was already part of Hilton’s story.
The hotel was built in 1936, placing its beginnings in a period when Hilton was developing from a small rural settlement into an established Midlands community. Its distinctive Tudor-inspired architecture, timber detailing and old-world character have remained defining features of the property for generations.
Over the decades, the hotel has witnessed countless milestones in the lives of the people who have passed through its doors. Weddings, honeymoons, family celebrations, conferences, holidays and special occasions have all become part of its story. Its connection to the local community is particularly strong, with families returning across generations and many guests carrying their own memories of the hotel.
The property has also evolved with the times. An extensive refurbishment completed in the early 2020s carefully modernised the hotel while retaining its distinctive Tudor-style character and many of the features that have made it recognisable for generations.
Today, ANEW Hotel Hilton continues that story — combining the character of a historic Midlands hotel with a contemporary hospitality experience.
