Post storm (… pre storm 😬) riverbank maintenance. Vernon and team have been hard at work the past few days clearing and under planting sections closer to the bridge with a variety of endemic riverine species. The Bitou bushes have done their work shielding the Milkwoods and yellowwoods we planted years ago but now it’s time to add some other local beauties to the mix.

Our thoughts are with everyone who have just started to recover some sense of normality ❤️ Praying that this week’s coming storm won’t wreak any further havoc 🙏😔

About last night … 🥳🍻🙌 So incredibly proud of our Barrington’s brewery team - Tristan and Alfred! Talk about doubling down - we walked away with FOUR AWARDS this year 🕺

Super chuffed to see Punch’s APA net a Silver and our Barrington’s Lite Lager a bronze - undisputed favourites with so many. Best you hurry home Tristan time to get that Imperial Stout - The Wreck - on tap for everyone to try!

This year’s competition saw 243 beers judged by 58 expert judges from 16 different countries, making it one of the biggest and most exciting competitions yet. Massive thank you to Lucy and her team yet again for making this incredible event happen. And huge congratulations to for winning Best Beer in Africa 🥳
