School holidays, Howberry Hills Style!

Mr Lukey - The Beekeeper.

The bees of our 4 beehives have been unsettled of late. After several swarms stung the horses and chased a guest or two we have made the difficult decision to move the bees to another farm.

Luke was assisting the beekeepers this morning in smoking, sealing and moving the boxes.

Although it’s sad to have to move them on it’s the best for bees and best for our animals and guests.
