ng facilities (including world class golf courses). It is a perfect base from which to explore the Garden Route and is a popular stopover between George and Port Elizabeth or Addo Elephant Park. The are numerous award winning animal/reptile/bird sanctuaries in the area as well as plenty of children's activities and craft markets to enjoy. Set in a quiet residential area called Seaside Longships, a mere 4 minute's walk to Robberg's blue flag beach, Bayside encompasses peace and tranquility while offering upmarket accommodation and friendly personalized service. Included in the room rates are scrumptious English and Continental breakfasts which are served in the dining room or patio overlooking a tranquil garden. There is a secluded salt-water pool, barbecue facilities on the patio off the dining room where guests often enjoy a sundowner while listening to the sounds of the waves. We offer televisions in all suites with DSTV (limited channels) a large flat screen tv with full Bouquet in the guest lounge, complimentary sherry and WiFi. Three suites are located upstairs in the main house (the owners lives downstairs with their own entrance, lounge and kitchen) and there is a self catering garden cottage close to the pool. "Finch Cottage" has a separate entrance, lounge with divan couch, private patio, barbecue and self catering facilities. Queen size bed and en suite shower. "Harmony" has its own lounge with divan couch, dressing room, en suite shower and King size bed. "Honeysuckle" has a King size bed (or two singles) with en suite whirlpool bath and shower. "Sunkissed" is a family suite with two bedrooms (King and twin or four singles) and one bathroom with bath, shower and two basins. Our comfortable guest lounge with under-floor heating and fireplace is perfect for relaxing and browsing through books or brochures. The bar is decorated with all kinds of memorabilia. The suites are individually decorated and all offer percale linen, dressing gowns, guest bathroom amenities (shower gel, hand wash, soap etc), tea/coffee making facilities, homemade cookies, snack baskets, fridges and beach towels/umbrelllas/chairs. We also provide hairdriers, minisafes, fans, electric hot water bottles and heaters/underfloor heating. There is a laundry service. We offer off street parking with CCTV and guests are provided with their own remote controls for the electric gate. For those not wishing to drive at night when going out for dinner, we arrange a reliable taxi service to and from local restaurants. It is possible to walk along the Robberg beach to Central beach restaurants and the Beacon isle in half an hour.
