What a beautiful black and white portrait of the unique black and white creature we call a zebra! ❤️

🦓 The beauty is in the details.
There’s something absolutely incredible about being this close to wildlife and getting the opportunity to capture all the little details we so often miss.

This gorgeous zebra at Mansfield Private Game Reserve was just too striking not to photograph — and I absolutely love how this black-and-white edit turned out. 🖤🤍 It’s always such a privilege to have wildlife in front of my lens. 📸

Mansfield Private Reserve is home to plains game such as giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, and other antelope. It is quite safe to walk the trails on our reserve. Our hiking trails are also open to the public. Now, put on your walking shoes and get outdoors!

Mansfield Private Reserve is situated in Port Alfred, a 10-minute drive from town. The reserve is home to plains game such as giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, and other antelope.

Mansfield offers comfortable self-catering accommodation. Lodging includes the original Farmhouse, a smaller Cottage, and an off-the-grid Eagle's Nest Cabin. For the more adventurous, there are camp sites and rustic tree-top structures called Platforms.

Activities include self-drives, hiking, guided nature walks, birding, and fishing.

Mansfield Private Reserve is also open to day visitors. Amenities include braai facilities, a rock pool, and a kids’ play area with a jungle gym, trampoline, and sand pit.

While you will not need a 4x4 to reach Mansfield, a high clearance vehicle is advised.

Mansfield Private Reserve is open to day visitors all year round. Black Rock, our day visitor site, is situated on the bank of the Kowie River. Bring and braai or picnic at one of the designated, sheltered locations. The rock pool and play area - with jungle gym, trampoline, and sand pit - will keep the kiddos happy. No booking required. High clearance advised.

Sleeping up to 8 guests, the original Farmhouse is the ideal space for a large family or group of friends. The kitchen is fully equipped for your self-catering stay. Prepare your meals in the kitchen or braai outdoors, the sounds of the bushveld providing a soundtrack for your stay.
