a well equipped NSRI station. At least a dozen excellent fishing spots are within walking distance, and the famous “Splash Rock” is a stones throw away. The Umtamvuna River with its offerings of waterskiing and beautiful picnic spots, scenic nature trails, craft markets, Banana, Coffee and Macadamia Nut-Farms are all within a 7 minute drive. Mountain Biking and Adventure Sports are on offer in these areas. There is ready and easy access to Commercial and Deep-Sea Charter fishing boats, Spear-fishing and Scuba Diving. Whale-watching has become a resent favourite pastime. For the Golf fanatic, the Wild Coast Sun Championship Course, San Lameer, Southbroom, Margate CC and Port Shepstone CC are all a short hop by Road. Doctors and Dentists are in close proximity, and the “CBD” with its Post Office, all leading Banks, a Super Market and lots of shops are all within an easy walk.
