📣 Youth Day Message to Staff and Guests 🇿🇦
Today, June 16, we pause to honour Youth Day in South Africa — a day of deep remembrance and reflection, but also of pride and progress. On this day in 1976, thousands of brave students in Soweto stood up against an unjust education system. Their courage sparked a movement that played a vital role in the struggle for freedom and equality. The sacrifice of those young lives reminds us that youth are not only the leaders of tomorrow — they are the change-makers of today.
At Hospitality Consult Group, we are proud to see that spirit of leadership, courage, and vision alive in our own team.
We celebrate:
🌟 Duwayne Putter (30) – our Operations Director and Consultant,
🌟 Khanya Sakawuli (26) – our Managing Director, and
🌟 Melissa Stroebel (29) – our Central Reservationist.
Their passion, innovation, and commitment continue to drive our mission of delivering world-class hospitality rooted in African warmth, excellence, and diversity.
As a proudly South African company, we embrace the rich cultural heritage and resilience that defines us. From Gqeberha to East London and beyond, we serve not just as hosts, but as storytellers of a people who continue to rise — generation after generation.
To our team and our guests, thank you for being part of this journey. May we continue to honour the legacy of June 16 by uplifting one another and creating a future that reflects the best of who we are.
