We are delighted to announce the appointment of Chantell van Baalen as Group Operations Manager of the Port Elizabeth Hotel Group.
Chantell’s journey with our Group is a wonderful example of dedication, growth and commitment. She joined us 25 years ago as a receptionist at The Marine Hotel, beginning what would become a remarkable career within the Group.
From The Marine Hotel, Chantell moved to the Front Office at The Beach Hotel, where she continued to develop her experience and knowledge of the hospitality industry. She later took on one of her most significant leadership roles when she was appointed General Manager of Hacklewood Hill Country House, entrusted with managing our first five-star property.
Over the years, Chantell has grown alongside the Company and has played an integral role in shaping the standards, culture and hospitality for which our Group is known today. Her extensive operational experience, deep understanding of our properties and people, and unwavering dedication to the Group make her exceptionally well suited to this next chapter.
We are immensely proud to see Chantell take the reins as Group Operations Manager. Her appointment is not only recognition of her achievements over the past 25 years, but also testament to what can be achieved through commitment, hard work and a willingness to continually grow.
We have every confidence that Chantell will make a great success of her new role and look forward to seeing her lead our operations into the next chapter of the Port Elizabeth Hotel Group.
