After 21 wonderful and memorable years, the time has come for us to say goodbye to Treetops Guesthouse.
Biffy and I have officially sold Treetops and are finally retiring, bringing to a close a chapter that has been far more than a business – it has been a way of life.
Over the past two decades, we have had the privilege of welcoming guests from around the world, many of whom have returned time and time again and have become lifelong friends. Those memories, conversations, and connections are something we will always treasure.
None of this would have been possible without our incredible team. We are deeply grateful to our dedicated staff members, many of whom have been part of the Treetops family for many of these past 21 years. Their loyalty, care, and commitment have played a huge role in making Treetops the special place it is today.
To all our loyal guests, friends, and supporters – thank you. Your kindness, encouragement, and support over the years have meant more to us than words can express.
As one chapter closes, another begins. Our immediate plan is to become nomads for six months, travelling around South Africa and exploring the many beautiful small towns along our coastline. We are excited for the adventures that lie ahead.
We wish the new owners every success and know that Treetops will continue creating wonderful experiences for guests for many years to come.
