From June to December, guests can enjoy spectacular whale watching right from our coastline.

🐋 Humpback Whales migrate north along South Africa’s coast between June and August on their way to warmer breeding waters off East Africa. They return between October and December, often accompanied by their newborn calves.

🐋 Southern Right Whales visit our sheltered bays from June to November, with the peak calving season taking place between July and October. During this time, mothers and their calves can often be seen resting and playing close to shore.

Keep your eyes on the ocean - you never know when one of these magnificent giants will make an appearance!
