On the Bay offers three star rated bed and breakfast as well as self catering accommodation for business executives, tourists and holiday makers. Our guesthouse is situated in Summerstrand, Port Elizabeth and within in walking distance to the most popular beaches, restaurants, shopping centre, Boardwalk entertainment centre and main bus routes. Likewise a few minutes drive will take you to the airport, university, golf course and sports stadiums. We are well positioned for the new Sports stadiumr, Iron man and all major local and international sport events. Just an hour’s drive from our B&B will find you in one of our many malaria free game parks such as Scotia, Addo Elephant National Park and Shamwari. We are also ideally situated for day trips to Jeffreys bay, St Francis bay, Tstsikamma, Port Alfred, Kenton on Sea, Plettenberg bay and Knysna

This perfectly situated accommodation is able to offer easy access to all the above whilst still maintaining peaceful tranquility in the midst of our beautiful garden and the sound of the waves lapping on our sea shore.

Port Elizabeth has so much too offer, so please try and be patient with the Electricty woes. We have been promised to be up and running by Easter. Dont forfeit you break here for a little inconvenience. We are fully functional at on the Bay.
BUT WE ONLY HAVE 5 rooms. The other guest houses and B&B’s may not have 24/7 but they have enough back up to make the dark hours liveable. Dont give up on us. The sea, weather and surf has been Amazing
