African Paradise Flycatcher 🌿🐦

Found across much of sub-Saharan Africa in forests, riverine bush, and well-wooded gardens.

This little guy can often be seen and heard around Ikaya.

Despite the male's long tail streamers—often more than twice the length of its body—it remains an agile flyer, catching insects in mid-air.

Our latest addition, Lush, is surrounded by greenery and nature, offering a peaceful and comfortable stay.

The unit boasts a spacious main bedroom with a double bed and sleeper couch. The second room has a single bed in an open-plan layout adjacent to the well-equipped kitchen.

Guests can enjoy a private braai area and outdoor seating — the perfect spot to relax and unwind.

The cows on the beach will be your only companions. The views are magnificent - with the rolling Transkei landscape and untamed nature.

A beautiful 3.5 km trail that gives you a proper taste of the Transkei's beauty.
