Charter options are readily available for deep-sea trips to some of our unspoiled reefs. Whether you are fishing from the river bank or from a light fiberglass boat, lure fishing, bait casting, fly fishing this stretch of estuary holds many power house mysteries of the salt water. Port St Johns is a favourite fishing destination, especially between the months of May and August when the Sardine run is on. The Wild Coast is well known for its dramatic and stunning landscape and Port St Johns is truly the “Jewel of the Wild Coast”. Our beautiful indigenous tropical forests and waterfalls accompanied with steep cliffs and rock formations are a feast for the eye. For the hiker Pondo Land is known worldwide for its hiking mecca.
