We were delighted with the very thoughtful and tasteful selection of all the components of the cottage. The lovely kitchen table and selection of glasses were perfect. Thank you for the ice and the wood & firelighters. Also for the fire triangle, braai grid & tongs. Koejawel Huisie was spotless and clean, and all the taps worked (no drips or running toilets) and all the electrics are sound, as are the brass window fittings. We loved the copper piping and curtain rails. Whoever does the building and maintenance tasks is worth his weight in gold! We did not need to heat the tub, choosing instead to take regular cooling dips during the baking heat. We loved the absolute peace and quiet, listening to the geese beating their wings as they flew past, and children playing in the far distance at twilight.
