Dear Royal Tree Clients & Followers 🌿
We’ve noticed the comments, the laughs and even a few conversations around the fact that you may have seen us advertise our Management and Reception positions more than once.
So, we thought we’d address it openly.
Over the past few months, we have been working hard at evolving and strengthening our Management and Reception team.
And the reality is simple:
Finding the right person for Royal Tree is not as easy as filling a vacancy.
We need someone who is willing to work hard, work under pressure and understand that hospitality and wellness don’t only operate Monday to Friday.
They need to be comfortable working weekends and Sundays when required.
But that is only the beginning.
They also need to be:
• Professional, polite and firm
• Responsible and dependable
• Presentable and well groomed
• Honest and respectful
• Fluent in both Afrikaans and English
• Comfortable with technology and modern booking systems
• Able to communicate professionally with clients
• Capable of solving problems without creating new ones
• Able to lead, take ownership and remain calm under pressure
• And most importantly, understand the level of service expected from the Royal Tree brand.
That is a lot to ask of one person — and we know that.
But we would rather advertise a position ten times than appoint the wrong person simply because we feel pressured to fill a chair.
Royal Tree has grown enormously over the years, and as the business grows, the standard of the people representing our brand needs to grow with it.
So yes… you may see the vacancy again. 😄
It doesn’t mean we’ve given up.
It means we haven’t settled.
