One of the most memorable moments we've had the privilege of hosting at Abendruhe Lodge happened on a recent game drive...

What started as a scenic sunset stop in the bush turned into a life-changing moment when a gentleman got down on one knee and asked the most important question of his life.

And the answer?

YES! 💍✨

Awesomeness...but with a lot of caution from our side!

Because we do not know this herd so well and the unpredictability of the matriarch we simply enjoyed them from a safe distance☺️.

She did stop for a second when she noticed us, smelled and moved on, realising we are no threat to her.
