Uitkyk House

Uitkyk House is a large self catering home situated off the beaten track in the Waterkop area on the outskirts of Prince Albert (3km from town centre) in the Great Karoo. The house comprises three bedrooms, a spacious, air conditioned, open plan kitchen – living – dining room area leading onto a huge, protected verandah with a swimming pool in the garden. A ‘jetmaster’ fireplace in the comfortable living room provides warmth on those cold Karoo nights, while the open fireplace outside (under cover) suitable for barbeque (braai) is suited to dining Al fresco of a Summer’s evening or all year round for that matter! A generous ten seater table on the verandah is perfect for entertaining family and friends when the weather is good (which it usually is!) or there is another, bigger one indoors for a cosier atmosphere! Facilities include a fully kitted kitchen with fridge, gas and electric stove, microwave oven, toaster, crockery and cutlery to cater for at least a dozen people. There is a separate scullery with a washing machine and dish washer for making cleaning up easy. Television, Hi-Fi, Wi-Fi and cell phone reception. There are three bedrooms: A large, air conditioned main bedroom with queen size bed en-suite, and two twin bedrooms (with fans) with a shared bathroom, complete with sets of bed linen, duvets, hand and bath towels.
