The Fynbos House in Pringle Bay is available for longer term rental from 1 February 2026.

Located on the Kogelberg Mountain with beautiful wrap-around views of False Bay and the surrounding mountains.

Partly furnished.
Three bedrooms of which the main bedroom is an en-suite loft room with fireplace and balcony.
Lounge and dining room with large open fireplace.
Open plan kitchen.
Two bathrooms.
Outside braai area.
Beautiful views.

Rent: R18 000per month
Minimum rental period of 12 months
Rent excludes security, WiFi as well as municipal costs.
One month deposit.

The Fynbos House will be available for short term rental from 1 October and long term rental from 1 January 2022 (if needed sooner, we can discuss).

It is located in Pringle Bay bordering on the Kogelberg Biosphere with beautiful views over False Bay and the surrounding mountains.

It’s furnished with two lounge areas, central kitchen, downstairs bathroom with sunken shower, a loft ensuite bedroom and two smaller bedrooms upstairs. A big open fireplace downstairs and one in the loft bedroom will keep you warm in winter.

Short term rental (minimum stay of 2 nights) at 1600 per night
Short term rental over festive season (15 Dec - 18 January) has a minimum stay of 8 nights at R1 900 per night
Long term rental at R12 000 per month, excludes municipal costs, security and wifi costs (all prospective tenants will be vetted and pay one month deposit)

The beaches might be closed at the moment, but the Fynbos House is the perfect hideout far from the crowds.

Our guests enjoyed the rustic charm, fynbos covered mountain backyard and beautiful views.

Over the past few days devastating fires have raged between Betty’s Bay and Kogelbay, threatening Pringle Bay, causing extensive damage to the surrounding mountains and a few properties and sadly leading to one death, all because of a flare shot off on New Year’s eve. We would like to give thanks to the firefighters and volunteers who have been working around the clock to keep communities safe and bring the fires under control.

We were reminded once again of the resilience and spirit of the Pringle Bay community, standing together in a time of distress. The mountains will recover in time and damaged properties restored, so in the meantime we encourage you to come visit and continue to support businesses in this beautiful part of our country.

We appreciate all the messages of support and are so thankful that the Fynbos House was unharmed.

The mountain behind the Fynbos House is covered in shades of white, purple and pink Fynbos at the moment, making it the most beautiful backyard in the world. Come stay for a few days and enjoy the coziness of our home surrounded by nature. We have availability from 7 January. Rates are from R1600 per night and the house sleeps 4 people.
