These two little girls managed to solve all the world's problems this past weekend as they contemplated life and its rich tapestries overlooking the garden and into the promising snowy clouds.

However the snow never arrived until after their departure and then turned into sleet straight away.

Needless to say our fire places were roaring and still are.

It's fresh out! We have accommodation availability for the brave...

When you have "model" guests staying at your guest house and leaves a review like this, it makes it all worthwhile.

"What a lovely stay. Ester was such a good hostess and went out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and knew where everything was. We spent my brother's surprise 50th get together there and could not have asked for a more comfortable or convenient stay. It's close to a lot of the surrounding attractions which makes it an ideal place to stay at. The evenings were spent in the boma/lapa that was fully equipped with everything in it, so there was no need for carting of cutlery etc to be taken from the main house. I would highly recommend the Rosedale self-catering cottage to everyone needing accommodation in the midlands meander. Once again, thank you Ester for your hospitality and friendly, caring nature, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
