πΏ Sabie, Mpumalanga β a little town with a big story
Sabie is a small forestry and tourism town in the Mpumalanga highlands, sitting along the Sabie River and surrounded by vast pine plantations, indigenous forest, mountains and waterfalls. It is one of those places where the town itself is relatively small, but the area around it offers an enormous amount to see and do.
It is also an important stop on the Panorama Route, sitting between Hazyview/Kruger National Park and Graskop/Lydenburg. South African Tourism describes Sabie as an ideal base for exploring the Panorama Route.
