Leopard Corner Lodge (Luxury Guest House/BnB) is the sister lodge of Leopard Tree Lodge (a luxury self-catering lodge down the street from Leopard Corner Lodge). Our Lodge is named after a
young male Leopard that lived in the forest adjacent to the Lodge. Our Lodge has the perfect location in our beautiful St Lucia, located on the corner of Shad and Sandpiper streets (streets closest to the beach). Our Lodge is also located on the edge of the forest/greenbelt area surrounding St Lucia, which allows experiencing wildlife encounters while staying with us at our Lodge. - Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays: 07:00 am to 18:00 pm
- Check-in time at our Lodge is between 14:00 pm & 18:00 pm. It is important to notify the Lodge Manager of your time of arrival, especially when arriving after 18:00 pm. NO CHECK-IN AFTER 21:00 AS RECEPTION WILL BE CLOSED AND NOBODY WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE LODGE TO HELP YOU WITH CHECK-IN.

No power failure and water supply issues will be experienced at our Lodge as we are equipped with Solar power, as well as a 54 Kw silent diesel generator and a borehole. OUR ROOMS:
* DUIKER, WATERBOK & ELAND - (Deluxe Forest View Rooms) - These three rooms share a lovely big wooden deck undercover balcony/seating area that perches above a section of the still untamed forest/greenbelt area surrounding St Lucia. Duiker (Twin/King room) & Waterbok (Twin/King room) sleep maximum 2 persons each, while Eland (Extra length Queen family room) can sleep up to 4 persons (maximum 3 adults). While sitting on the wooden deck our guests staying in these 3 rooms are often fortunate to see Kudu, Bushbuck, Duiker, Warthog, Bushpig, various species of birds, the occasional hyena and leopard and especially our town's hippos grazing the grass in the forest adjacent to the premises at night time.
* ROOIBOK & BOSBOK - (Deluxe Twin/King Garden View Rooms) - These two rooms share a undercover balcony/seating area with a view of the garden. Rooibok can sleep up to 4 persons (maximum 2 adults), while Bosbok can sleep a maximum of 2 persons. These two rooms are often booked by large families or by friends and families that travel together. Both these rooms are equipped with large glass showers, spa-baths & matching his-and-hers basins.
* SPRINGBOK - (Deluxe Queen Garden View Room) - This room sleeps maximum 3 persons & is equipped with an Extra length Queen size bed and a Single bed standing separate. This room has its own private undercover patio/seating area with a view of the garden. This room is equipped with a large glass shower, spa-baths & matching his-and-hers basins. This room is an ideal choice for families of 3 or friends traveling together.
* BLESBOK - (Luxury Two Bedroom Garden View Room - Twin/King room) - This room sleeps maximum 3 persons. The main bedroom is equipped with two side-by-side Single beds that can easily be converted into a King size bed, upon request. This room has enough space to stand a further camping cot for growing families. This room is an ideal choice for friends traveling together or for our corporate clientele or families of 3.
* KOEDOE - (Deluxe Queen Private Family Suite) - This is the largest of all 9 our rooms and has its own private undercover wooden deck balcony/seating area. Koedoe room has a fully equipped kitchen and can sleep up to maximum 4 persons (maximum 3 adults).
* NYALA - (Queen Private Room) - This room sleeps maximum 2 persons & is equipped with a Queen size bed. This is a very private room as its entrance is separated from the other rooms in the lodge. This room has its own undercover private wooden deck balcony/seating area. This room is ideal for a couple that needs privacy or a single person traveling.
* All our rooms have outside undercover seating patio/balcony/deck areas.
* Maximum occupancy is 26 guests in 9 en-suite rooms. Leopard Corner Lodge is wheelchair friendly and accessible. Free private parking for 1 vehicle per room, per stay, is available. Please arrange with us beforehand regarding trailers as limited parking is available. Breakfast consists of a Continental and English (cold & hot) breakfast, which is served each morning between 07:30 am and 09:00 am outside on our main deck area. This deck overlooks the swimming pool and the beautiful cycads that encircle the pool area. When the cycads are in bloom, it is common to see the many species of birds that come to feed on the variety of red seeds. St Lucia has the largest number of different bird species found together, in one single place, out of the entire continent of Africa. There are many different tours and activities that can be enjoyed in and around St Lucia. All of these, including game drives to 3 game reserves surrounding or close to St Lucia (Eastern Shores, Western Shores and Hluhluwe game reserves), Ocean Explore & Fishing adventure (3 hours), turtle breeding tours, snorkeling tours at Cape Vidal, Hippo & Croc boat cruises on the Estuary, hiking, horse riding, birding, cultural village and deep sea fishing etc. can be arranged and booked from Leopard Corner’s reception.
