Fun giraffe facts to brighten your day:
🦒 Giraffes have a prehensile tongue up to 45 cm long—perfect for grabbing those tricky acacia leaves.
🦒 Their hearts are enormous, weighing up to 11 kg, to pump blood all the way up that long neck!
🦒 Despite their size, giraffes only need 5–30 minutes of sleep in 24 hours.
🦒 Spot the difference: males have thicker ossicones (horns) that are usually bald on top, while females’ are thinner and tufted with hair.
