A heartfelt thank you to Heritage Tours and Arno vd Westhuizen for an absolutely unforgettable day in the Hluhluwe Game Reserve.

Arno, thank you for being the most knowledgeable and passionate guide. We learned so much about the animals, birds, and the bush - from animal behaviour and survival techniques to the different sounds they make and the fascinating stories of life in the wild. Your enthusiasm and expertise made every moment truly special.

To top it all off, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast and a wonderful braai, making the day even more memorable.

Thank you for an incredible experience. We highly recommend Heritage Toura to anyone wanting to discover the beauty and wonders of our African wildlife.

Nestled between beautiful thatched roofs and surrounded by lush, tropical garden, African Ambience offers a peaceful escape where nature is always close by. Wake up to the songs of abundant birdlife, watch guinea fowl wander through the garden and keep an eye out for our regular wildlife visitors, including red duiker, squirrels, warthogs, velvet monkey, cameleon and even the occasional hippo or honey badger passing by under the cover of night.

Thank you for being part of our journey. We look forward to welcoming both returning and new guests to experience the tranquillity of natural beauty at African Ambience.

Probably the best place I have ever stayed!
The lodge is incredibly beautiful and comfortable, and our hosts Hennie and Ilze who run the lodge are some of the loveliest and most hospitable people I’ve ever met! I would highly recommend this place to anyone, the breakfast that is served every morning is delicious, and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. Our hosts were also super helpful with suggestions for things to do in St Lucia and with assisting us with booking activities. We absolutely loved our stay here!
Everything was excellent!
