Tranquil Wilderness Gem Amidst Farmlands
Teniqua Treetops is a truly unique and spectacular escape. Although it’s located among farmlands, the moment you arrive you feel completely immersed in nature - ike you’ve been transported to the heart of an untouched forest. It’s hard to believe you’re just a short drive from Knysna, George, Wilderness, and Sedgefield.
The setting is incredibly tranquil and peaceful, perfect for those wanting to unwind and reconnect with nature. The treehouses are thoughtfully laid out, blending beautifully with the surrounding forest. Ours had stunning views and included a well-equipped kitchen, a deck for braaiing (charcoal only, no wood fires due to fire safety), and another deck with loungers for relaxing or soaking up the sunset. We forgot to bring charcoal, but a quick call to reception and it was delivered within 10 minutes. GREAT service!
There’s a lovely pool and bar area near reception, and we thoroughly enjoyed hiking all the trails on the property. Just a heads-up: the river trail exit near the pump station can be tricky to find, so make sure to follow the directions provided carefully.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. This is a magical place to disconnect and just be. We absolutely loved our time here and will definitely be back!
