Swartvlei Caravan Park is situated 5km from the picturesque Sedgefield. The park offers 154 grassed sites of which 40 have electricity available.

We are pet friendly! Swartvlei Caravan Park is situated in the picturesque seaside resort close to Sedgefield. The town of Sedgefield is centrally located in the Garden Route only 20km from Knysna and 41km from George. This makes Swartvlei the ideal base to explore the area from. Wine, beer & meat nearby. We allow cats and dogs with our happy campers. Strict rules apply though.
- A maximum of two pets are allowed per booking.
- Pet owners should provide the following:
- Vaccinations and anti-rabies certificates must be valid.
- Pet’s bed.
- Pet’s fence/crate/stroller/carrier.
- Disposable bags.
- Scratch pole for cats whose claws are not trimmed.
- Pets must be leashed when outside the chalet or tent.
- All pets must be clean
- No aggressive pets are allowed on the premises and they must, therefore, be well-socialised.
- Guests accept full responsibility for any liability arising from my pet (pet damage or personal injury to the site, employees,
guests, third parties or property).
- No pets are allowed be left alone unattended in vehicles.
- Understand that my dog is NOT PERMITTED on the beach, however he/she is allowed on the sidewalks of the beach areas but must be on a leash.
- Only pets of 34 kg and lower are allowed at our resort.

Our rates range between R354.00 and R431.00 per night out of season. In season, our rates range between R633.00 and R741.00. Pensioners wanting to stay for a month or longer will only pay R3300.00!
