Our annual maintenance shutdown this year is from 15 July until 1 September 2024.
Please plan your holidays and trips up Table Mountain accordingly.

Each year, we service the Table Mountain Cableway to ensure safety for all staff and visitors.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
If your birthday falls within our 2024 annual maintenance period, you can collect your birthday tickets during September 2024. Please bring along your valid SA ID document, driver’s licence or birth certificate (inclusive of an SA ID number) to prove that you have celebrated your birthday during the seven-week shutdown.
