THE ART OF FUN... We've been thrilled to see our guests enjoy the Kruger Untamed experience this season and have fun while on safari with us. Fun is an important part of our guest experience, and we love it when spontaneous laughter echoes through the camps and excited chatter fills every corner we've created for guests to enjoy.

PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE... In the soft, purple light of dawn on one of the last days of the season, a Verreaux's eagle owl looking out over the savannah at Satara Plains Camp carries meaning. Looking back over the last few months gives us time to appreciate everything that's gone into it, from overcoming the challenges brought by heavy rains to celebrating a legendary wilderness in an unprecedented time of plenty because of those rains.

As we begin the process of dismantling our vanishing camps and returning the wild to itself over the next few weeks, we'll be reflecting on the last few months and looking forward to what next season brings.

For this wonderful dinner main course, Chef Sandile created ember-roasted cauliflower with a chickpea and pepper ragout, accompanied by wild herb rice, garden spinach and pumpkin puree.
