Out here in the Karoo, our sheep don’t just graze, they forage.

Every day they wander across the veld picking their way through a huge variety of bushes, herbs and grasses. Skaapbossie, kapokbos, wild rosemary and sweet veld grasses all make up their natural diet.

That variety is exactly what gives Karoo lamb its famous flavour. The aromatic bushes season the meat from the inside out, giving it that clean, slightly herby taste you simply can’t find anywhere else.

No artificial feeds, no hormones, just open land and what the Lord provides through the seasons.
