Easy Five Guesthouse Easy Five is a charming Cape Town-area guesthouse nestled between the waters of False Bay and the Hottentots Holland Mountains.

We offer comfortable bed-and-breakfast or self-catering accommodation in a quiet and beautiful garden setting complete with a heated, 10-metre swimming pool and a traditional thatched lapa with braai. Our guest rooms evoke an authentic local vibe with their thatched roofs, wooden furniture, themed décor and large photographic prints of the Big Five safari animals after which the rooms are named.

There are many amazing drives and mountain passes near us here at Easy Five with breathtaking views and heart stopping plunges. One of our all-time favourites is 100-year-old Chapman’s Peak, whose 114 sharp bends over just nine kms takes you from the pretty little fishing village of Hout Bay to the glorious expanse of Noordhoek beach.

Francis’s food tip: Kristen’s Kick-ass Ice Cream at the Noordhoek end of the pass lives up to its billing — it kicks ass!

While this season will be a lot less busy than our usual, it will be orders of magnitude better than last year.

With our first guests now in residence, it is a delight to be back in the in keeping game.
