Free WiFi and satellite television. The Self Catering Suites are ideal for long and shorter stays and are serviced twice per week. Kitchens are equipped with fridge/freezer, gas hob, microwave/convection oven and all kitchen utensils, cutlery and crockery. Beds can be configured as either King-sized or Twin beds. Satellite television includes two German channels. Terrace Suite: located on the upper level with its entrance via steps from the pool area. It features a private sun terrace with pool loungers as well as a large balcony with stunning views on the mountains and the swimming pool below. The balcony is furnished with patio table and chairs and has a Weber barbeque. The suite offers a large open-plan area with bedroom and lounge, a separate kitchen and a separate bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. Pool Suite: located on the lower level near the pool with a private entrance. It has a sunny patio equipped with table and chairs as well as pool loungers. The suite has an open-plan lounge and kitchen area with a separate bedroom and en-suite bathroom. The bathroom is equipped with shower, basin and toilet. Guests are welcome to use the barbeque facility at the pool. The three luxury B&B rooms are situated in the main house and features extra length beds, a small fridge, coffee and tea making facility, satellite television, digital safe, hairdryer and free WiFi. The en-suite bathrooms have shower, basin and toilet. Rooms are serviced daily. Pond Room & Tree Room: Situated at the front of the main house with private entrances and timber decks, furnished with patio table and chairs. Garden Room: Located at the back of the main house with a private garden terrace. Entrance to this room is through the main house. The room is furnished with a Queen-sized bed.

Somerset West is still open and as fabulous as ever! Even though 2020 has been an exceptionally difficult year for all in the hospitality industry, it is heartening to find new places that start up and that we can all support. Below are photo's taken at Botanicum - the new restaurant at Morgenster Wine Estate. A superb place for a meal with a view. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Best of all, it is located only 3 km from SomerZicht!
