Kromme River Descent

Kromme River Descent Kromme River Decent Invitational open water swimming adventure to be held on the 3 and 4 May 2014. A Race briefing will be held at 10am.

The first Kromme River Descent will be held on 3 and 4 May 2014. Invited swimmers must meet at the Kromme Island Lodge at 9am on the 3rd. Swimmers will be ferried 6km up river to the start. Day one's finish will be at the Kromme Island Lodge. Day two will be a 8km swim from the Lodge to The Cove near to the Kromme River Mouth. Accommodation is at the Kromme River Lodge for swimmers that are sleepi

ng over...either in the lodge or camping. the cost to camp is R50..lodge accommodation has already been sorted, so those staying in the lodge already know there costs. All accommodation is self catering. Blu Smooth will be providing and paying for the lifeguards as well as sponsoring the fuel for the boats. On Saturday afternoon/night we will have a bring and braai at the Kromme River Lodge...so please bring along whatever you would like to eat and drink! Any further questions...just ask away!
