Airbnb has made us Superhosts again, and the credit goes to the people who actually gave us those scores: our guests. Thank you to everyone who stayed and took the time to leave a review.

Summer holidays are coming and we still have a few dates open in November, December and January. Choose between the farm, the village, or mountain and lagoon views.

Thank you, Stanford in Bloom. 🌸

Overberg Gems would like to thank Grootbos Private Nature Reserve , Nicolene and her team who made Stanford in Bloom possible, and Leon Kluge and his team for a magnificent display.

It was a joy to share our village with everyone who came to see it. We can't wait for next year. 💛

🕰️ Throwback Thursday

Six years ago, a group of ladies swapped their daily routines for two nights of pure countryside bliss at The Little Farmhouse — and honestly, we're still smiling about it.

Yoga on the farm, long walks, dressing up the donkeys, local w**es by the fire, and the best kind of company. That's what a proper girlfriends' getaway looks like.
Something special is in the works. Watch this space. 🌿

Lagoon View is waiting for you.

Situated on a private estate between Stanford and Hermanus, this is a proper winter escape. Log on the fire, maybe some rain on the lagoon, nowhere you need to be.

Gather the family around the 8-seater dining table for a long lunch, braai on the covered veranda, then settle in for a late-night card game.

The birdlife at Lagoon View is spectacular whatever the season and nature enthusiasts will love it here.

It's peaceful, pretty, and exactly the kind of place you'll want to come back to again and again.

🌿 Have you discovered The Little Farmhouse?

Set on a peaceful farm just outside Stanford, this relaxed country escape is all about space, fresh air and slowing things down.

Light a fire, enjoy a proper braai under the stars, and end the day in the wood-fired hot tub. Kids love the space (and the friendly donkeys Onkie and Penelope🐴), while grown-ups get to properly switch off.

It’s rustic, relaxed, and just the kind of place you didn’t know you needed.
