Not every winery in Stellenbosch is chasing volume. Aaldering very much is not.

Aaldering Vineyards is a small, family-run estate with a clear focus on quality over quantity. The range is tight and deliberate, built around Bordeaux varieties and Pinotage, with a style that sits closer to the Old World than you might expect from the Cape.

Those of you at the WineAlive Bristol Festival last weekend might recognise the name. The competition prize was a magnum of Aaldering for a reason. We rate them highly.

Ik kwam binnen als een baba, de baby van de wijnkelder. Maar ik eindig met de bijnaam Wonderwoman!
We hebben de laatste rvs tank cabernet sauvignon leeggehaald, geperst en opgeruimd.
We deden het samen! Twee en een halve maand lang in drie talen Engels, Nederlands en Afrikaans. Ik ben trots op ons!!!
