Nature has a way of stopping you in your tracks when you least expect it. At Le Verger, the gardens deserve their own spotlight: vivid, unhurried, and absolutely worth slowing down for.

We love the spekboom, and for good reason. In 2025, it was named a flagship of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration and dubbed the Cape's miracle plant. Not only is it one of the most effective carbon absorbers, purifying the air we breathe, creating a relaxing atmosphere and improving sleep. It also revives degraded land, restores nutrients, prevents erosion, and provides a vital food source for local wildlife. This is why we planted over 10 000 spekbome right here on Le Verger.

Mist rolls over the valley, a rainbow arching across the farm, and the day is already hard at work. Life on the farm at its finest.

Steps away from that unmistakable Stellenbosch atmosphere. Private, fully equipped and perfectly positioned. Eikehoff is the kind of stay that leaves you reluctant to go home.
