Break away for a weekend or a well deserved holiday at Fools Gold Self-catering Accommodation- the perfect spot to unwind, relax and enjoy everything the picteresque coastal town of Stilbaai has to offer.
The non-smoking unit situated in the historical Bellevue Resort which used to be the first Hotel in town in Stilbaai East is perfect for singles, couples and families of three.
The open-plan lay-out makes the space cozy with the sleeping-living area decorated in soft shades of green, white and beige effectuating calmness.
Quality bedding is provided for the double and single-bed and ample storage in the form of a built-in cupboard along with two more cupboards. From the convenience of your bed, you can watch DSTV-Channels on the flat screen TV mounted on the wall. Free Wi-fi is also included.
The self-catering kitchenette is equipped with a table and chairs, a microwave oven and a fridge-freezer combo. There is a two-plate hotplate, electric frying pan, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery and large glass water bottle with a tap for purified water as Stilbaai is known for the brackish water.
Doing washing is a breeze with a large washing machine (13 Kg top-loader) and drying rack. Pegs is in one of the cupboards in case the washing line in the communal area needs to be used.
The bathroom is spacious with a toilet, basin and shower. Bath towels are included, but please bring your own swimming towels. A small hairdryer is also provided for.
The front door of the unit opens onto a private patio sporting a brick built braai/barbecue facility. A small bench, a table and some chairs complete the set-up for socialising around a cosy fire, eating, drinking and chatting away. The patio offers a tranquil view of the Goukou River and being so near the river mouth, the tides can easily be observed.
Fools Gold Selfcatering Accommodation is situated next to a restaurant, a Putt-Putt miniature golf course and a small general store a few minutes away. It is close to the main beach, Lappiesbaai which is one of the villiages well known Blue Flag Beaches.
Guests renting the unit have access to the communal area which offers a fenced in swimming pool along with a number of communal braai/barbecue places. Being fenced makes it a safe space for small children. The unit has a safety door/gate and burglar bars.
