Our ‘Loerie’ room is one of our guests' favourite units as it opens to the front garden of the guesthouse. This large family room has a king-size bed and a double bunk bed along with an en suite bathroom. There is quiet seating outside the room on the verandah and the room comes with select satellite TV plus tea/coffee facilities.

One of the flowers you'll see a lot of in the Village Lodge garden and around the Tsitsikamma is the Arum Lily. Interestingly, although called the arum lily, Zantedeschia aethiopica is neither an arum (the genus Arum) nor a lily (genus Lilium). However, it is associated with the lily as a symbol of purity,

They grow naturally in marshy areas and that is why they like the Tsitsikamma with its high annual rainfall so much.
