Don’t you just love how Africa gets under your skin? 🌿

It’s the animals. The unexpected sightings. The sound of the bush waking up. The moments when you find yourself sitting quietly, completely captivated by what’s in front of you.

Africa has a way of staying with you long after the safari ends. 🦁🐘

Ever wondered about the distinctive black lines running from a cheetah’s eyes down towards its mouth?

Known as tear marks, these markings are thought to help reduce glare from the sun, helping cheetahs keep their eyes focused while hunting.

And when you’re built for speed, every advantage counts.

We often notice them for their long legs and distinctive appearance as they stride across the grasslands. But once those impressive wings unfold, they become an entirely different sight.

With a wingspan of around 2 metres, the Secretary bird is remarkably graceful in the air, effortlessly carrying itself across the open landscape.

From walking the plains to soaring above them, this is one bird that never fails to make an impression.

Spring is here! Time to soak up the sunshine, smell the flowers and enjoy the great outdoors. 🌿☀️

And suddenly… colour. 🌸

Spring has arrived, bringing fresh greens, bright blooms and little reminders that the bush is always changing.

After the quiet tones of winter, it’s wonderful to see the reserve come alive again.

We’re looking forward to sharing this beautiful new season with our guests — and all the magic it brings. 🌼🦋

Hello, Spring. We’re ready for you!
