time to quit. We’ve been playing host to guests for 11 years while enjoying an unequalled lifestyle in Swellendam, a beautiful village at the foot of the Langeberg mountain range. But now we cannot keep up with the tempo anymore and would like to give somebody else an opportunity to experience a relaxed existence while meeting interesting people from all over the world. The property consists of a house with four bedrooms, three bathrooms (two en-suite), a lounge, dining room, entrance hall, an east facing as well as a north facing veranda and three more rooms to be used as you please. Added to this are four en-suite guest rooms, all with private entrances and a fully equipped guest unit which consists of a dining room, lounge, guest restroom, kitchen, pantry, laundry and scullery. The dining room opens up to a deck with a splash pool. The property also has a garage big enough for three cars, three store rooms and an outside toilet, a beautiful garden and a magnificent view of the mountains. We would like to sell to a new owner with genuine dedication to the hospitality industry. Plans for further expansion have been approved and are available.

Our Story

Hallo Swellendam! Am 1. April 2017 sind wir, Bianca, Amelie und Egi die neuen stolzen Besitzer des Gracewalk Guesthouse geworden. Wir hatten Glück das Gracewalk von Esther und W***y zu übernehmen. Wir freuen uns auf eine neue und aufregende Zeit, viele interressante Gäste und das eine oder andere Abenteuer in diesem schönen Land! Im laufe des Jahres werden wir das Gracewalk ein wenig renovieren, das eine oder andere Zimmer neu gestalten und freuen uns auf die kommende Saison!

Jetzt ist fast genau ein Jahr vergangen. Unglaublich was in dieser Zeit alles passiert ist!!! Die ersten 5 Monate als Guesthouse Besitzer liegen nun schon hinter uns. Afrika hat und hatte immer wieder lustige Situationen für uns. 8 Suiten sind jetzt so gut wie fertig. Unsere Gäste waren alle super und wir haben es bisher nicht bereut!

Wir schauen weiterhin voller Zuversicht und Freude in das zweite Jahr und sind schon sehr gespannt was noch alles vor uns liegt.
