Our Story
This Guest House has now been rated "Superior" by the AA and has received a 4 Star **** TGSA accommodation rating. The Guest House has been totally refurbished in a traditional antique style to flow with the Edwardian Heritage House. The house built in 1901 has a lot of charm and character, which has been restored to its original splendour. The Guesthouse also features true South African character, including paintings from local artist depicting the beautiful South African Landscapes.
We are situated in a very peaceful and safe area of the picturesque town of Swellendam, in the Western Cape province of South Africa. Swellendam.
The majestic house with its large wrap-around veranda is the ideal place to come and relax after a busy day exploring the wonderful Overberg region. Whether relaxing on the veranda with its comfortable sofa's or sitting under one of the large trees in the beautiful garden, peace and tranquillity is what you will experience at this Guest House.
