Two brothers. One waterhole. Zero tolerance for company.

We rolled up on these two lions mid-ambush, muscles tight and eyes locked on the prize… and they made it very clear we weren’t part of the plan. Low growls, hard stares, and that unmistakable tension that only Africa can deliver.

There’s something about being this close to the top of the food chain that reminds you exactly where you stand.

We may have disturbed their afternoon hunt… but moments like this are why we’re out here.

Weeks of relentless rain have transformed the farm in ways we haven’t seen in years. Rivers have burst their banks, low-lying areas are completely underwater, and roads we drive every day have disappeared beneath the flood.

First hunt of the season and we’re off to a proper African start 🇿🇦

There’s no gentle introduction out here… Ross got thrown straight into the deep end on one of Africa’s toughest animals — the blue wildebeest. Known for their resilience and grit, these animals don’t go down easy, and Ross found that out quickly.

Even with a well-placed shot, the bull covered serious ground before giving us the opportunity to recover him. A true reminder that hunting in Africa is as real as it gets — respect for the animal always comes first.

And what a way to begin… a beautiful 29-inch blue wildebeest bull on his very first hunt.

Not a bad start at all.

The late rain this season has definitely caught us by surprise… but Mother Nature still knows how to put on a show 🌧️🌈

Green grass, cool evenings, unbelievable sunsets, and rainbows stretching across the bushveld — moments like these remind us why we love this life.

Sometimes the best views come after the storm.

We offer charter flights directly into camp, cutting out hours of unnecessary driving and putting you in the bush faster. More time tracking, more time on the hunt, and a smoother, more comfortable start to your safari.

Arrive fresh. Hunt longer. Experience more.

The lodge is coming together beautifully — we’re about 95% there.

The bar just needs a few final touch-ups, and the rooms are nearly ready to welcome guests. A handful of furniture pieces still need to find their place, but we’re right on the finish line now.

It’s been a big push to get everything done, and seeing it all come together like this makes it worth it. Not long now until we open the doors and start making memories with our first clients.

Moving day at the lodge! 🏡✨

Furniture is going in, final touches are happening, and the place is starting to feel alive. Tomorrow we welcome our first clients — so it’s all hands on deck to clean, prep, and make sure everything is just right.

A lot to do, but this is the part we love… seeing it all come together.

Let the season begin. 🐃🔥
