Meet the new faces at Lily Pond Country Lodge!

We are Rynhard and Natasja Burger, the new management couple at Lily Pond Country Lodge.

For us, it started with a love of food, lifestyle and people. The pleasure of a beautifully prepared meal, a thoughtfully set table, a glass of wine shared with good company — these things matter to us deeply, and they shaped the way we approach hospitality.

Having worked in various Boutique Hotels, Game Lodges and a Guest Farm we have built a career on a simple philosophy — exceed expectations, invest in your team, and the rest follows naturally.

When we first discovered the Garden Route and Lily Pond, we were struck by the natural beauty of the beaches and the forests. But what really moved us was how the place stays with you. Long after you've left, you find yourself thinking about it, talking about it, and quietly planning your return.

We've moved our family to Plettenberg Bay, this isn't just a new role for us — it's a new chapter, and we can't wait to share it with every guest who walks through our doors."
